NEWS FLASH

Agrowplow sinks roots in fertile North American market.

Graeme Finn intensively grazes 78 pairs on a quarter section year round.  This year he only grazed half of his pasture (80 acres) all due to the new efficiencies brought to his management system by the Agrowdrill imported from Australia.  He directly seeded and renewed his pasture with a machine that until now has not been known in North America.

Based upon Graeme's results and consultation and their own stunning Australian results under extremely adverse conditions, Agrowplow started importing their Agrowdrill and Agrowplow Subsoiler to North America in 2007.

The company sent Phil Avery, their 19 year general manager to Canada to oversee imports, assembly and sales of their lines.  They have set up an assembly operation in Crossfield, Alberta, Canada.

Phil states “When it comes to soil management our company has proven results behind them; we sell machinery but in doing so also sell farming sustainability; tough times spur innovation.  The Agrowplow lines were created in adverse conditions and have proven themselves.  A tremendous market exists for our products as few farmers and ranchers have ever seen or heard of the results we can bring with our time tested line."

Graeme comments, "I rejuvenated my land with one pass using the Agrowdrill; there was a 70% increase in my forage.  We now have Canadian field trials underway to give us precise data on the impact the Agrowplow Subsoiler and Agrowdrill will have under varying Canadian conditions and crops."  He adds, "Rather than up to nine passes with a tractor to redo my pasture I managed it with one pass.  I brought the Agrowdrill up from Australia and was excited as there was nothing like it in North America."

Areas of land that have been previously difficult, risky or impossible to sow by conventional means can now be sown to more productive pastures using the Agrowdrill system.  With soaring fuel, machinery, chemical and labor costs the Agrowdrill is an economically viable, sustainable environmentally sound option for pasture and crop improvement and for rotational cropping programs utilizing one-pass seeding.
